Terms of supply

Draft version 16 October 2026. These terms are prepared for internal hardening and are not a statement that a solicitor or regulator has approved them. They will form the proposed consumer contract only after the seller identity, product descriptions, checkout and launch controls are complete.

1. Seller

Proposed seller: [STUDYCURRENT LTD LEGAL NAME - OWNER TO SUPPLY], intended to trade under the StudyCurrent name. Company number: [STUDYCURRENT LTD COMPANY NUMBER - OWNER TO SUPPLY]. Registered office and business address: [REGISTERED OFFICE AND REQUIRED BUSINESS ADDRESS - OWNER TO SUPPLY]. Place of registration: [JURISDICTION OF REGISTRATION - OWNER TO SUPPLY]. Customer support: support@studycurrent.co.uk. VAT information: [VAT STATUS OR VAT NUMBER - OWNER TO CONFIRM]. These placeholders are not valid seller disclosures. Christopher Ogbonson is not intended to be the contracting seller once StudyCurrent Ltd is incorporated and the merchant relationship is verified.

2. Products, price and access

The current catalogue is Electrical Science (£39.99), Fault-Finding Mastery (£49.99), and Complete Electrical Mastery (£79.99, including both products). The stated prices are one-off prices, not subscriptions, and access is intended to last 12 months from purchase. The product page and checkout must state the exact included material, functionality, language, compatible access method, total price and access start/expiry before an order is placed. No live order is currently accepted.

3. Independent educational material and safety

StudyCurrent is supplementary learning material. It is not itself a qualification, awarding body, accredited course, licence or occupational competence assessment. No City & Guilds, IET, BSI or other awarding-body affiliation or endorsement is claimed. It does not authorise anyone to carry out electrical work or replace formal training, competent supervision, safe isolation, current legislation, regulations or standards, manufacturer instructions, site-specific risk assessment or professional judgement. It is not personalised or site-specific electrical advice. Do not use it as instructions for live work. Stop and seek a competent person where work, testing or an installation is unsafe or outside your competence.

4. Account and permitted use

Subject to payment and the stated access term, the purchaser receives a personal, non-transferable right to use the supplied StudyCurrent materials for their own learning. Do not share account credentials, copy or redistribute the materials, republish question banks or simulator content, resell access, or commercially exploit the materials. These restrictions do not transfer ownership of third-party standards, marks, source material or other rights to StudyCurrent. Nothing here removes rights a consumer has under law. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect accounts, prevent fraud or address serious misuse; where practicable we will explain the reason and offer a route to contact support.

5. Ordering, payment and digital supply

The order screen must identify the seller, product, total price, payment obligation, access period and links to the final customer documents. Terms acceptance, immediate digital-supply request and cancellation acknowledgement are separate unticked controls; optional marketing consent is separate and never required to buy. A payment provider processes card details on its hosted page. Access begins only after payment is confirmed by the provider. A purchase confirmation and durable copy of the applicable terms, refund policy and consent record must be sent to the customer.

6. Cancellation, refunds and statutory rights

Where a statutory cancellation right applies and digital supply has not begun, the consumer may cancel by a clear statement sent to the seller using the verified support route. Where the consumer separately and affirmatively asks supply to begin during the cancellation period and acknowledges the effect before supply begins, the statutory right to cancel for change of mind may be lost once supply begins, if the legal requirements are met. This does not remove any statutory right or remedy relating to digital content that is faulty, not as described or otherwise fails to conform. See the Refund and cancellation policy. No blanket no-refund rule applies.

7. Availability and third parties

Online access depends on internet access and third-party hosting, email and payment services. Temporary interruption, maintenance or a third-party failure may occur. We will take reasonable steps to restore the service and communicate material issues through a verified channel. This does not exclude remedies for a failure to supply or statutory rights. Payment-provider disputes do not remove rights the consumer has against the seller.

8. Liability and non-excludable rights

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability where the law does not allow that, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or a consumer's statutory rights and remedies for digital content. Nothing in an educational or safety disclaimer excuses inaccurate content or prevents a claim where the law permits it. Any other liability allocation must be fair, transparent and limited to what may lawfully be agreed; this draft does not impose a blanket exclusion of loss.

9. Complaints and contact

Contact support@studycurrent.co.uk. The seller must confirm who monitors this mailbox and a workable complaint/refund process before sales. Do not send passwords or full payment-card details. For an electrical emergency, contact emergency services or a competent electrician, not StudyCurrent support.

10. Governing law

The governing-law and jurisdiction wording remains to be completed after the seller's place of registration and target markets are confirmed. Nothing in this draft limits mandatory consumer protections that apply to a customer.
